Who can take part?
Farms Around focuses on local food in Europe. Your location can be on the map if:
- You produce and sell food yourself, or run a countryside shop focused on selling local products.
- Your location is in the EU, the UK, Norway or Switzerland.
- Your products are local. By that we mean within 50 km.
Petting farms are welcome if they sell local products, such as eggs from their own chickens. See our FAQ for more on eligible locations.
How to put your location on the map
- Click ‘Add location’ (on mobile via the + button).
- Create an account with the ‘owner’ role and follow the instructions.
- Choose a listing or profile and fill in your details.
- After a quick review by us, you’re on the map!
Already on our map? Then visitors or we have already added you. Want to show photos and more information and become more visible? Log in (on desktop via “Log in”, on mobile via the profile icon), find your location and click “Activate” to choose a Lite or Full profile.

For over eight years we’ve been visiting farm shops across several European countries — by now we’ve visited more than 900 locations. We kept noticing that many places are hard to find online. People want wholesome local food, but often don’t know where to find it. With Farms Around we make it easy to find locations like yours.
